Lose2Gain 4-week Fitness Program
We are excited to once again be offering our popular Lose 2 Gain program to School District employees with support from Fremont Regional Wellness. Lose2Gain is a 4-week Fitness Program geared towards improving your fitness no matter what level you are at. Whether you want improve on your current strengths or get back into a routine, Lose2Gain is the perfect introduction to CrossFit Cañon City and our unique workout programs. All classes are trainer led and are offered 7 times a day for your convenience. Membership also includes Yoga, mobility and our STEAM class. Weekly STEAM class - Tuesdays 6:30 am or 6 pm
S.T.E.A.M. (Strength, Training, Elements, Agility, Mobility)
The purpose of the STEAM classes will be to focus on technique and form. The Coach will work with you to improve your function and mobility on the core elements of CrossFit with the goal to maximize growth.
Week 1: Gymnastics (on the performance pyramid it comes before strength training and it's a good way to emphasize core engagement)
Week 2: Squats > air squat > front squat > OH squat AND Deadlifts > deadlift > SDHP
Week 3: Shoulders > strict press > push press > push jerk
Week 4: Med Ball Cleans, Kettlebell Swings, Cleans, and Snatches
